Hey! I'm Alex
CS student at UCCS building support-minded internal tools and helping people solve device and account problems.
- Google SWE intern
- UCCS IT Service Desk
- Apple/device support
I'm a computer science student at UCCS, class of 2029. I work at the UCCS IT Service Desk, where I triage walk-ups and calls, resolve first-line device and account issues, and help with macOS/Windows onboarding and data migrations.
In summer 2025, I interned as a SWE at Google, where I shipped improvements to internal tools in Python and JavaScript, wrote tests and docs, and collaborated across teams under privacy and quality constraints.
Outside of school and work, I do independent Apple device support and PC builds. That usually means device setup, iCloud/Google account recovery, Photos/Messages transfers, Wi-Fi and printer troubleshooting, and privacy-minded workflows around 2FA, passcodes, and backups. I also volunteer at community tech workshops for seniors and new users.
